Last quarter of 2019 with more than 30 events at the CCIB

More than 30 events and 65,000 attendees. The last quarter of 2019, between September and December, reaches the CCIB with large international appointments, which include medical and scientific congresses, as well as those related to information technologies (IT) and music shows at the Auditori Fòrum CCIB.

Activity at the CCIB has not stopped, either in summer. After hosting the Goldschmidt 2019 conference in August, the largest geochemical congress in the world with more than 3,500 scientists, researchers, teachers and students, this September starts with important appointments such as the medical congress of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe (CIRSE), with more than 6,500 attendees. During the remainder of the year, the congress of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) is also expected, with more than 6,000 participants; the World Marine Mammal Science Conference (WMMC); a new edition of InteriHotel, the main event specialized in interior design and decoration of hotels; or the eighth edition at the CCIB of Gartner ITxpo Symposium, one of the great meetings of IT analysts, among many other events.

The shows will also feature prominently with concerts at the Auditori Fòrum CCIB, such as the French musician Yann Tiersen, known for the soundtrack of the film “Amélie” and who will present the new album “All” in Barcelona; the recently announced concert of the British James Blake to present their fourth album “Assume Form” or the Assasin’s Creed Symphony concert with symphonic orchestra and choirs of the most emblematic themes of the saga of Ubisoft, among others.
